Former head soccer coach for Michigan College, Sherrone Moore, has been arrested simply hours after being fired for having an “inappropriate relationship.”
ESPN’s Dan Wetzel and Pete Thamel reported Wednesday night time that Moore was detained by police in Saline, Michigan. He was later turned over to the Pittsfield Township Police Division for an “investigation into potential costs,” in response to a press release shared by the sports activities reporters.

It’s unclear what the investigation is in relation to.
Earlier Wednesday, Moore was fired after a Michigan College probe discovered “credible proof” that the coach “engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a employees member,” the college stated in a press release shared by a number of shops.

“This conduct constitutes a transparent violation of College coverage, and U-M maintains zero tolerance for such habits,” Michigan College stated.
This was simply Moore’s second season as the pinnacle coach of the Michigan soccer crew. He was given the title in January 2024 after six years as a member of the offensive employees.
Moore has a spouse, whom he has been married to since 2015, and three daughters.
Affiliate coach Biff Poggi has been named as Michigan’s interim head soccer coach.
