Chilling second throughout PSG’s 7–2 demolition of Leverkusen. In the midst of the Parisian masterclass, Désiré Doué was pressured off at half-time after a violent collision that left him bleeding, based on footage aired by Canal+.
Hit within the face after a troublesome problem, the younger French star was shortly handled by medical employees, whereas Ousmane Dembélé, clearly shaken, watched on from the sidelines.
Happily, it appeared worse than it was — Doué was again together with his teammates after the ultimate whistle, smiling and reassuring everybody. A giant scare in the course of an ideal evening, and a reminder that in soccer, every part can change in a cut up second.
