PSG’s pursuit of Ilya Zabarnyi is on maintain—for now. Regardless of being on the membership’s radar for a number of weeks, there’s been no breakthrough in negotiations with Bournemouth.
The 22-year-old Ukrainian centre-back, underneath contract till 2028, is valued at €70 million excluding bonuses—a price PSG isn’t able to match at this stage.
In response to Le Parisien, talks have stalled, although Paris nonetheless views Zabarnyi as a long-term defensive resolution. Nonetheless, with the Membership World Cup knockout stage looming, PSG might revisit the transfer through the second participant registration window (June 27–July 3).
If progress is made, Zabarnyi might be registered in time for the spherical of 16, giving Luis Enrique an additional choice for the ultimate dash. Till then, PSG waits for Bournemouth to melt their stance—or for Zabarnyi to push from his facet.
