Jan. 12 (UPI) — The Cleveland Browns will interview former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel for his or her head teaching emptiness, they introduced Monday.
McDaniel, who was fired Thursday, will interview Monday. He would be the sixth candidate to interview with the Browns, who fired former coach Kevin Stefanski on Jan. 5.

The Browns’ present candidate record contains offensive coordinator Tommy Rees and defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher, Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Aden Durde and Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken.
McDaniel led the Dolphins to a 35-33 regular-season report from 2022 by 2025. The Dolphins went 0-2 within the playoffs below McDaniel, who was a large receivers coach for the Cleveland Browns in 2014.
McDaniel, 42, additionally labored as an offensive coordinator and run sport coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers and offensive assistant and extensive receivers coach for the Atlanta Falcons, Washington Commanders and Houston Texans.

Sources informed NFL Community that the previous Dolphins head coach can even interview with the Falcons, Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens for his or her head coach openings and for the Detroit Lions’ offensive coordinator emptiness.
